Hey, it’s Hazem.


A friend told me about a cigar store owner he knows in my city.


One day, this guy decided to stock up big time. Cuban cigars, Julieta, limited editions, boxes worth hundreds of euros.


BUT, with no real plan, just excitement and the belief that the product would sell itself.


And here's the problem, cigars are very niche in that city, and so the interested buyers never knew he actually stocked up. Basically he barely made any sales.


I checked later, and to no surprise, there were no ads, no Instagram, no website. Even when I searched “cigar stores near me,” his shop didn’t appear anywhere. The cigars were luxury, the visibility was zero.


Now here's the problem:

He invested in stock, not strategy.


You can have the best product in the world, but if no one knows you exist, it doesn’t matter. Social media marketing and digital marketing are what turn inventory into income.


Lesson here: A great product without marketing might sell, but with marketing you can sell even MORE.


So, social media marketing now isn’t optional. Customers discover you online today. If you’re not showing up there, you’re losing sales to the ones who are.
